Latest WWE News  – Aleister Black and Sami Zayn join the list of talents that will not travel for the celebration of the next event in Saudi Arabia

Aleister Black and Sami Zayn would have decided not to travel to Saudi Arabia for the WWE Super Showdown celebration. The event, which will take place next June 7 at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, already has several meetings announced for its card. However, the list of talents that will not attend continues to increase after recent casualties.

In the last few hours it has been reported that both Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan would have decided not to work on the show. John Pollock of POST Wrestling confirms this information, adding the names of Zayn and Black as other talents that will not take part in the event. At the moment the reasons for his absence are unknown.

In the case of Zayn, it was already reported last year that he did not participate in Greatest Royal Rumble due to his Syrian ancestry. Syria currently maintains tense diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia, so WWE decided to set it aside so as not to provoke any kind of offense with the country hosting the event. For Crown Jewel, held in November, it was not available due to an injury.

In the case of Owens and Bryan, their refusal to work in the Middle East country has been reported. It should be remembered that Bryan decided not to travel for the celebration of Crown Jewel, modifying the meeting scheduled for the WWE Championship by a fight between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. As for Owens, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful said he does not want to go to the show because of his personal relationship with Zayn.
