Latest WWE News  – Seth Rollins managed to win the victory by the count of three after applying the Curb Stomp

Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar in the fight for the Universal title at SummerSlam to become a new champion. The Architect was presented with a bandage on the abdomen for what happened with his last meetings with Brock Lesnar but he scored a great fight and managed to win the victory by the count of three after applying the Stomp Curb.

However, it was not the only time Rollins brought out the Curb Stomp. The match was full of false endings, with Lesnar trying to take the victory after applying an F5. The Beast also made use of the German Suplex several times, a movement that was well countered by Rollins in the first part of the fight.

In this way, Seth Rollins manages to end the 26-day reign of Brock Lesnar and get his second ostentation. The previous reign of Seth Rollins was 98 days. Brock Lesnar is still the superstar who has held the title the longest, with a total of 689 days.

The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins comes from afar, having their first real encounter at WrestleMania 31, event in which Seth Rollins won the WWE Championship by using the Money in The Bank briefcase. Interestingly, Brock Lesnar used the same tactic to take away the title from The Architect in Extreme Rules. Before the latter happened, the two saw each other’s faces in the first fight of the WrestleMania 35 main show, where Rollins managed to beat The Beast to take the Universal Championship.
