Latest WWE News – The Japanese company reports that they have completed their capacity for the show, so they will open new spaces in the coming days
New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) will hold one of its big events of the year on June 9 during “Dominion 6.9 in Osaka Jo-Hall”. The show, as has been usual in recent years, will take place from the Osaka Jo-Hall and can be seen live through New Japan World.
The company confirms through a statement that it has sold all the tickets for the show after three days on sale (including fans with access to the NJPW Fan Club, which could get them in advance). Due to the high demand, NJPW will open new areas to the public, with additional seats on the second floor and on the runway.
With a month to go before the show, NJPW can get one of the best registrations for Dominion in recent years. It is recalled that the company decided to change the Dominion headquarters in 2015, leaving the EDION Arena Osaka (formerly known as Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) and settling in the Osaka Jo-Hall, allowing a greater capacity for assistance.
Last year NJPW also achieved a record number for Dominion, with 11,832 spectators, completing the available capacity. The Osaka Jo-Hall has a maximum capacity of 16,000 spectators, but for pro-wrestling events it is distributed to a maximum of 13,500 fans.
The bill this year has three confirmed fights so far, such as the defense of the NEVER Championship between Taichi and Tomohiro Ishii or the fight for the Intercontinental IWGP Championship of Kota Ibushi against Tetsuya Naito. In the main event you can see Chris Jericho returning to the company to have a match against Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
