India will play their 9 round robin matches on 6 plains

Latest Cricket News – In the World Cup strong contenders, India will play on 9 matches of the league stage of the Cricket  , which starts in England from May 30, of which Birmingham’s Edgbaston, Manchester’s Old Trafford, Southampton’s Daily Bowl, The Oval of London, Trent Bridge of Nottingham and Headingley grounds of Leeds are included. India’s record in Edgbaston has been fantastic. India has played ten ODIs in Edgbaston so far, out of which 7 have won it and only 3 have lost.

India has won 5 consecutive matches in Birmingham’s Edgbaston Cricket Ground since 2013, including ICC Champions Trophy 2013 against Pakistan and two big wins of 8 wickets and 124 runs in 2017. But during the World Cup, India will not face the opponent of Edgbaston but will be hosted by England (June 30) and Bangladesh (July 2). India has played four matches against England, winning three of them. Bangladesh had also beaten India by 9 wickets in 2017 on this ground.

India face West Indies in Manchester

India will face their opponent Pakistan on June 16 in Old Trafford, Manchester, where they have not played any ODI since 2007. On this ground, India won three out of eight matches and lost to 5. India, however, defeated Pakistan by 47 runs on the ground in the 1999 World Cup. India will also face West Indies on June 27 in Manchester. India had spread sensation by defeating the Caribbean team by 34 runs on the same ground in the League stage of the 1983 World Cup. India’s only win on this ground was registered against Kenya in 2004. Apart from South Africa, India will also fight against this field from Afghanistan (June 22).

India will face Australia in The Oval, London

The Indian team will face Australia’s tough challenge at the Oval on June 9. India has played most of the 15 ODIs on this ground, of which it has won only 5, while 9 matches have been lost. The result of a match was not turned out. A match was played between India and Australia in the 1999 World Cup here. Australia won the match by 77 runs.

Trent Bridge, India vs New Zealand in Nottingham

The Indian team will play in New Zealand (June 13) in Trent Bridge, Nottingham, and Sri Lanka (July 6) in Headingley, Leeds. In Nottingham, the Indian team has won 3 out of 7 matches and lost in similar matches. The Indian team against New Zealand, however, has lost in the three matches played in England in the World Cup. These include a match played on the same ground in World Cup 1999.
