Latest Cricket News – India vs South Africa, 2nd Test at Pune: Captain Faf du Plessis feels that South Africa’s young fast bowler can learn a lot from Mohammed Shami, including bowling effectively under domestic conditions. Shami bowled lethally in Visakhapatnam on the fifth day of the first Test, helping India win the match by 203 runs. “I told one of my young bowlers that this is a good opportunity for you to learn,” Faf du Plessis said here on Wednesday before the second Test. I said that you can see how cricket plays when someone is at the top in domestic situations.
He said, “You (young players) can learn how to use the crease angle and reverse swing the ball. So there is obviously a lot to learn. “The South African captain has been impressed by the impressive way Shami bowled on the fifth day of the match.
He said, “His bowling has a lot of intensity.” You put small spells in the heat, but when you bowl, try to make sure that you bowl with full force and keep it going. Faf du Plessis said that much can be learned from Shami’s bowling length.
“He is a bowler whose balls hit the stumps very much,” he said. A lot can be learned in terms of bowling as well. We have to make sure that we do better. Especially in the first innings, we threw very wide balls (first test) so that they scored easily.
