For which he was chosen as ‘Man of the Match’. With this, India became a ‘Player of the Series’, with a series win. In this match, Deepak Chahar created history by taking a hat-trick and also recorded many brilliant records.
India had scored 174 runs at the loss of five wickets in the scheduled 20 overs, in response to which Bangladesh’s entire team collapsed for 144 runs in 19.2 overs. Deepak Chahar became the first bowler in India to take a hat-trick in T20. He has also become the seventh bowler from India to take a hat-trick in all formats of cricket.
